This Month’s O, The Oprah Mag has an article by Lindsey Van Gelder titled Nine Ways to Spark a Break-Through.
These are her suggestions (and my translation of her suggestions): go public (build accountability), join a club (get support from others on the path), confront the risks (be vulnerable), DIY (see all possibilities), rely on the kindness of strangers (per the article, seek investors), know your strengths (don’t overlook your assets), spread the word (get others involved), cultivate wonder (creativity is play), embrace your critics (don’t assume the answer will be no).
