I’m thrilled to announce my brand new novella, Reconciling with Rangeley, will be included in Sunflower Season, A Charity Anthology for Ukraine.
Seventy best-selling and award-winning historical romance authors have donated either new or existing stories, and *all* author royalties will be donated to humanitarian relief in Ukraine.
I’m so grateful to be able to join with my fellow romance writers and raise money for this worthy cause.
The anthology will only be available for a short time, and I do not plan to offer this novella for sale at any future date, so please consider pre-ordering now, or placing an order on our release date, June 7, 2022.
Here’s a little tease–the moment the heroine, Kitty, comes face-to-face with the man she loved but was forced to abandon…
Reconciling with Rangeley
His love is Endless. Her desire still smolders. But can a dowager’s scheme to reunite these parted lovers reignite a passion never meant to be denied?
Kitty’s empty teacup rattled in its saucer as the door swung open. She glanced over her shoulder and then stood.
Phillip.
No. Rangeley. She would only think of him as Rangeley, now.
In fact, she’d never truly had the right to use his Christian name. And she’d never felt the absence of a right so keenly as she did while standing beneath his glower.
His eyes were vacant of understanding, and the intensity of his gaze easily penetrated the hardened armor around her heart. Armor barely restraining a flurry of feelings she’d thought she’d be able to suppress once they met face-to-face.
How could she have made such a mistake?
She hadn’t expected his presence to have such impact. He was so real, so vivid after so long in memory’s umbra. His eyes were the same clear blue, but the rest of him had changed.
He’d aged, of course, but age suited him. He’d gained gravity, austere strength. She searched for the eager boy in his cheek’s hard lines and in his chin’s cleft but did not find him.
Still, his chest rose and fell in a rapid rhythm matching her own.
How had a thousand bees claimed her body for a hive? And would their restless buzzing ever end?
If you love second chance romances and/or library sex, I promise you won’t want to miss this one!
I, along with these other authors, thank you for supporting our efforts!
