I’ve been addicted to self-help-ish type articles and books forever (I remember the school librarian telling me I was the only regular middle-school reader of Psychology Today in the all-school library). So, when a book I was reading during a bout with insomnia suggested a new-to-me time management skill–doing urgent/important & non urgent/important things BEFORE tasks labeled urgent/not-important–I did not have high expectations. BUT creating a reasonable writing goal and then labeling it urgent/important & doing it first has proven remarkably effective! And the laundry still got washed. Imagine that. …to the TBR pile for a celebration.
